The nation's largest grassroots family lobby, TVC focuses upon issues such as education, homosexual advocacy, family tax relief, pornography, the right to life and religious freedom.
Eagle Forum:
Headed by conservative pro-family stalwart Phyllis Schlafly, Eagle Forum is one of the most effective grassroots
organizations in the country. If they have an emphasis it is on education, but the group has excellent resource
material on a whole host of issues.
National Fatherhood Initiative:
NFI "encourages and supports family and father-friendly policies, develops national
public education campaigns to highlight the importance of fathers ..., provides motivation for
national and local coalition building, and provides information to individual men to help them
be better fathers."
Conservative
Policy Organizations:
Heritage Foundation:
Washington's most influential conservative think tank, with articles and policy papers galore. It's
perspective is "based on the principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom,
traditional American values, and a strong national defense."

Accuracy in Media:
Great site for keeping abreast of how the liberal media distorts the news.

much of it is actually making it into the news and entertainment media.

Great News & Opinion Sources:
The Washington Times:
Perhaps the best conservative daily newspaper in America. It is owned by the Moonies, but there are very few on the staff.
There is no better conservative front page on the net. Their "Inside Politics" and "Inside the Beltway" sections are excellent
sources of information on what is going on behind the scenes in the nation's capital.
National Review:
The original conservative magazine has a great website. Do yourself a favor and subscribe to their "Washington Bulliten" and get
a brief daily report on news from Washington from a conservative persective.
The Wall Street Journal Opinion Page:
Most people think of the Wall Street Journal as simply a business paper. Wrong! They also have arguably the
best conservative (pro-family also) opinion page in the country. You can also get a summary of the contents of their opinion page in your e-mail
every day, along with a fabulous rundown of news available on the Internet called "Best of the Web Today"--which you can
also receive daily via e-mail. Women's Groups (the good kind)
Concerned Women for America:
The largest pro-family women's public policy organization in the country, dwarfing organizations the media
are always quoting, such as the National Organization for Women. |
